14 4) Remo ve hinge (B) fr om the right side of the appliance and the 2 ller scr ews fr om the lef t side. At tach the 2 ller scre ws to the right side and at tach hinge (B) to the lef t side. See F ig . 4. 5) Rot at e the t op panel 1 80° from its pr e vious position.

18 3) Scre w the 6 threaded wood inser ts into the 1/4" holes drilled in the pr e vious st ep . Make sure that the inserts are threaded str aight and that the t ops of the inser ts are ush t o the ov er la y panel surf ace. Otherwise, the ov er lay panel cannot be pr oper ly f astened t o the door .
19 f) Remo ve hinge (C1) fr om the t op right par t of the door , ip it and reat tach to the bot tom lef t. R emov e hinge (C2) from the bot tom right par t of the door , ip it and reat tach to the t op left. See Fig . 1 5. P roceed t o step 7 .
20 9) T emporarily f ast en the ov er la y panel t o the door using 2 of the M4×25 pan head scre ws pro vided. NOTICE! Ensur e that the bac k surface of o ver lay panel is at bef ore at taching. See F ig . 1 8. 1 0) Mark the center point of the hinge (C1) and hinge (C2) holes that e xt end ov er the ov er la y panel.
21 Snug the scr ews , but do not tight en. Sheet Metal Brac ket Ov erlay P anel Tight en the screws . 5) F asten the o verlay panel t o the door using the four M4×25 pan head scr ews pr ovided. Snug the screws , but do not tighten. See Fig . 24. 6) F asten the sheet met al brac ket t o the bot tom of the door with the thr ee T2 scre ws pro vided.
22 7) Tight en the four M4×25 pan head scr ews installed in st ep 5. See Fig . 26. 8) Replace the door g asket in its pr oper orientation. Reinser t the bushings int o hinge (C1) and hinge (C2) (the hinges at tached to the door). See F ig. 27 . C anoe Clips F ig.

31 A. Maintenance Sc hedule The maintenance schedule belo w is a guideline. More frequent maint enance may be requir ed depending on wat er qualit y , the appliance's envir onment, and local sanitation regulations . 32 B. Cleaning and Sanitizing Instructions The appliance must be cleaned and sanitiz ed at least t wice a year . More fr equent cleaning and sanitizing ma y be r equir ed insome conditions. W ARNING • T o pre vent injur y to individuals and damage t o the appliance, do not use ammonia type cleaners.
33 7) Make sur e at least 1 0 minutes ha ve elapsed since y ou poured the cleaning solution ov er the extruding head, then mov e the control s witch to the "ICE" position. 8) Allow the appliance t o make ice f or 20 minut es, then mov e the control s witch to the "DRAIN" position.
34 5. Sanitizing Pr ocedur e - F inal 1) Using a clean funnel and hose, pour 1 qt (1 l) of sanitizing solution o v er the e xtr uding head. Allow the appliance to sit f or 1 0 minut es bef or e operation. 2) Mov e the control s witch to the "ICE" position.
35 D . Condenser Check the condenser once a y ear , and clean if requir ed b y f ollowing the st eps below . More fr equent cleaning may be r equired depending on location.
36 E. Optional Drain P ump HS-5061 If the optional drain pump (HS-5061) is installed, t est its operation at least t wice a year as outlined below . Not e that the pump has pow er e ven when the contr ol s witch is in the "OFF" position.
37 V . P r eparing the Appliance f or P eriods of Non-Use During e xt ended periods of non-use, e xtended absences, or in sub-fr eezing temper atur es, f ollow the instructions below . When the appliance is not used f or t wo or three da ys under normal conditions, it is suf ficient t o mo v e the control s witch to the "OFF" position.
38 1 4) Plug the appliance back in, then mo v e the control s witch to the "DRAIN" position. 1 5) Blow out the r eser voir outlet hose using the compr essed air or carbon dioxide suppl y . 1 6) Mov e the contr ol s witch t o the "OFF" position, then unplug the appliance fr om the electrical outlet.
