5 2. LOCA TION W ARNING This icemaker is not intended for outdoor use. Normal ope rating ambient temperature should be withi n 50°F (10°C) to 100°F (38°C); Normal operating wa ter tempera tur e should be wi th i n 41 °F (5°C ) to 90°F ( 32 °C).
6 3. SE T UP IMPORT A NT Do not place heav y objects exceeding 33 lbs ( 15 kg) on the T op Panel. 1) Unpack the icemake r , a nd remove all shipp ing cartons, tapes and packing BEFORE operati ng the unit. 2) Po si t ion the ic ema k er in a sel e cte d site.

W A TER SUPPL Y A ND DRAIN CONNECTIONS W ARNING T o prev ent damage to the f reez er mechanism, do not operate t his icemaker w hen the water suppl y is OFF , or i f the pres sure i s below 10 PSIG (0 .7 bar) , the recommended w ater pressure. Stop the icema ker until pr oper water pressur e is r esumed.

10 8. P RE P A RI NG THE I CEM A K ER FO R LONG STORA G E (mo re tha n 1 day ) W ARNING Drain the icemaker to prevent damage to the water supply line at subf reezing tempera tures, using air or carbon dioxide . Shut of f the icemaker u ntil proper air temperatur e is re sumed.

13 8) Remov e the Water T ank to drai n the clea ning soluti on. Refit the Wa ter T a nk in it s cor rect position. 9) Open th e Shut-off V alve. 10) Move the Control S witch to the “WASH” pos ition to circulate c lean water for a bout 5 minute s.

15 8) Remov e the Thumbscrews on both si des of the Water T ank, and pull it out toward you. Clean and sa nitiz e t he Wat er T a nk. 9) Pull the Disch arge T ube from the Water Plate. Remove the Water Plate by pul ling it toward y ou. 10) R emove the Caps to cl ean and sanitiz e the Water Plate.
16 15) H ook each Sep arator on to the M echanis m Base, and pull it hard to ward you until it locks in place wi th a cli ck. Refit all the Separator s in the s ame wa y .
