9 9 P P O O W W E E R R The console on your (CSE2) is powered by 2 AA batteries, which are replaceable through the back side of the console. Y our elliptical itself, is powered by you. Y our programmable (CSE3HR Only) elliptical is powered by a power supply .
1 1 0 0 M M O O V V I I N N G G Y our elliptical has a pair of transport wheels built into the front of the frame. T o move, firmly grasp the console mast, carefully lift and roll. C C A A U U T T I I O O N N ! ! Our ellipticals are well built and heavy , weighing up to 200lbs.

R R E E S S I I S S T T A A N N C C E E During a workout, the amount of resistance can be adjusted by pressing the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons on the console. The resistance levels vary from level 1 to 16 (level 1 being the easiest and level 16 being the most difficult).
C C H H O O O O S S I I N N G G A A P P R R O O G G R R A A M M T o choose a program, press the quick program key . The program profile lights will show you which program you have selected. Once you choose a program, wait for 5 seconds and you will see the resistance level flashing in the Resistance window .

2 2 4 4 Always consult your physician before beginning an exercise program. H H O O W W O O F F T T E E N N ? ? The American Heart Association recommends that you exercise at least 3 to 4 days per week to main- tain cardiovascular fitness.
2 2 5 5 H H O O W W H H A A R R D D ? ? How hard you workout is also determined by your goals. If you use your elliptical to prepare for a 5K run, you will probably work out at a higher intensity than if your goal is general fitness. Regardless of your long term goals, always begin an exercise program at low intensity .
2 2 6 6 F F E E E E D D B B A A C C K K Y our elliptical offers two heart rate feedback options. Y ou may choose to use the heart rate handle- bars, or the chest transmitter for a hands free workout. S S T T R R E E T T C C H H F F I I R R S S T T Before using your Horizon Fitness product, it is best to take a few minutes doing a few gentle stretch- ing exercises. Stretching prior to exercise will improve flexibility and reduce chances of exercise relat- ed injury .
