Before y ou begin Bef or e you beg in Precautionary measures: If the opening that sucks in the air , the suction pipe or the telescopic wand are blocked , you should switch o the vacuum cleaner at onc e. F irst clear the blocked substance befor e you attempt to start the vacuum cleaner again.
W ar ning T o reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injur y: 1 . Do not le ave the a pplianc e connected to the main s power supply when no t in use . Discon nec t from an y power supply befor e per forming a ny maintenance duties. 2. T o reduce the ris k of elec tric shock, do not use outdoors or on wet s ur faces.
1. Align the mark on the handle with the mar k on the top cover , and fit the cover into the dust container . 2. Align the mark on the handle with the mar k on the top cover . Make sure the contacting sur faces are alig ned. Adjust the top co ver in a clockwise direction.
A ssembling the vacuum cleaner (continued) 3. When the mar k on the top cov er and the mark on the middle of the dust container are lined up completely , the dust container assembly is correctly assembled. 4. Disassemble the dust container by following the above instructions in reverse.
Assembly 1. Fitting or remo ving the flexible hose F itting: Inser t the flexible hose into the air intake duct of the vacuum. Pr ess until it clicks into position. Removing: Remove the plug from the pow er socket and then release the flexible hose from the air intake duct by depressing the two buttons.

I nstruc tions f or Use Before using the applianc e, un wind a sucient length of cable and inser t the plug into the pow er socket. A yellow mark on the po wer cable show s the ideal cable length. Don ’t e xpend the cable beyond the red mark. 1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the vacuum on.
Instructions for Use M aint enance Ensure the v acuum cleaner is not connec ted to the po wer supply when per forming any maintenance proc edures. Use a damp cloth and mild detergent when cleaning the appliance.
Motor Filt er Cleaning W arning: Ensure the cleaner is not connected to the power supply when per forming any maintenance proc edures. Remove the top cov er on the canister and then remove the filter . The filter can be cleaned by dusting with a brush.
Maintenanc e Rear Motor HEP A Filter Replac ement The rear motor filt er is installed behind the air outlet grid, this filter is washable. When dust or dir t is visible on the sur face of the filter , the filter should be replaced or washed with warm water to maintain efficient suction.

Maintenanc e Changing the Motorised Pow erhead Drive Belt 1. Disconnec t the pow erh ead from the telescopic tube. 2. Turn the powe rh ead upside down and squeezing the locking tabs, remove the bottom plate.
M aint enance (continued) Changing the Motorised Pow erhead Drive Belt (c ontinued) 4. Slide the old belt off the dr ive shaft and then the end cap. If the belt is broken, remove all the br oken pieces. 5. Place the new belt over the drive shaft first and then the end cap.
T roubleshooting F ault T reatment The cleaner will not turn on. Check that the power cable is inserted securely ; r emove from the power supply and then reinsert into the power supply . Check that the on/off switch is in the “ON” position. The vacuum per f ormance is deteriorating.
