– 33 – Bypassing Protection Zone s Using the 6 BYPASS Key This key is used when yo u want to ar m your system wi th one or mor e zones intenti onally unprotected. Bypass ed zones are unprotected a nd will not cause an alarm when violated while yo ur system is armed.
– 34 – Bypassing Protection Zone s (cont ’ d) Quick Bypass Your syst em allows you to easi ly bypas s all open (faul ted) zones wi thout having to enter zone numbers individually. Note: All byp asses are remove d when an OFF se quence ( security code plus OFF) is performed.
– 35 – Bypassing Protection Zone s (cont ’ d) Group Bypass Your syst em allows you to eas ily bypas s a group of zones wi thout ha ving to enter zone numbers i ndividuall y. The system provides up to 15 groups. There is no li mit to the numb er of zones that may be ass igned to any one gr oup.
– 36 – Arming Perimeter Only (With Ent ry Delay ON) Using the 3 STAY key Use thi s key when you a re s taying home, b ut mig ht expect s omeone to use the entran ce door later. When arme d in STAY mode , the system will so und an al arm if a pr otected door or window is opened, but you may otherwise move freely t hroughout t he prem ises.

– 40 – Arming All Protection (With Entr y Delay OFF) Using the 4 MAXIMUM Ke y Use this ke y when th e premise s will be vacan t for exte nded pe riods of time such as vac ations, e tc., or whe n no one w ill be moving thro ugh protecte d interior area s.
– 41 – Quick Exit Using the # + 9 Keys The Qu ick Exit feature allow s you to ex it the armed partitio n withou t having to disarm and the n rearm the partit ion.

– 45 – Viewing Alarm Company Messages General Information Users of t he syst em may periodica lly receive m essa ges on thei r display screens from t heir monitoring agency or ins taller. When a message is wait ing to be vie wed, the message shown belo w will appe ar.
– 46 – Panic Keys (For Manually Activating Silent And/Or Au dible Alarms) Using Panic Keys Your system ma y have been programmed to use special key comb inations to manually a ctivate panic funct ions. T he functions that might be programmed are Sil ent Emergency, Audible Em ergency, Personal Emergency, and Fire.
– 47 – Speed Key (Macros) General Information The “ A ” , “ B ” , “ C ” , and/or “ D ” k e y s c a n b e u s e d t o a c t i v a t e a s t r i n g o f commands up t o 32 keystrokes each. These comma nds are known as a macro and are s tored in the s ystem ’ s memory.
