Installation Guide 2 ENGLISH n Loosen the locking screw at the bottom of the thermostat. Note that the screw is captive and cannot be removed from the wallplate. o Separate the thermostat from the wallplate as per Fig ure 1. p Position the wallplate against the wall and mark hole positions with a pen cil.

Installation Guide 4 ENGLISH NOTE : This setting is necessary only if the thermostat is connected to a heat pump. The jumper is located on the back of the thermo stat faceplate. Set it according to the type of reversing (changeover) valve used by the heat pump.

Guía de instal ación 4 ESP AÑOL NOT A : este aju ste no es necesario si el termosta to estará conectado a una bomba de calor . El puente de ajuste está situa do en la parte posterior de la tapa del termostato. Hay que colocarlo según el tipo de válvula de in versión que utiliza la bomba de calor .
