1 Un packing t he unit and conditions of use Before and when unpacking the unit, mak e a visual inspection to identify any possible damage which may ha ve occurred during trans- por tation. Please look for loose par ts, dents, scratches, etc. Report any damage immediately to the freight company .
If the unit is used for purposes other t han those stated here, it shall not be considered to be use for the purpose intended. I Only connect sensors supplied with the unit. If a replacement sensor is required, only use sensors of the same type (Part No.
I If the unit cannot be operat ed without the risk of danger , it mus t be tak en out of ser vice and precautions taken so that it canno t be switched on again unintentionally .
I Snap – in housings: Fit the unit in an aper ture 28,5 x 70,5 mm and secure it with the relev ant mounting frame. a) housings with terminal box co verplate (max. wall thickness 22 mm) b) housings without terminal box co ver plate (max. wall thickness 18 mm) for w alls thicker than 1 0 mm: remov e lateral plastic spacers from the mounting frame.
☛ Instructions: I For PCR-1 10 the t otal current via terminal 5 of the common rela y connection must not exceed 1 0 A . I Pa y attention to the contact loading of the rela y (8A/5A resis tive load, 2A/1A inductive load). As a general rule, contact or s are recommended.
8 6. 1 Switching on t he oper ating voltage The controller is star ted by means of a contr ol switch provided b y the customer . The firs t time the controller is star ted, pre-progr ammed setting values are used which at a later point can be adapt ed for individual require- ments.
