7800 SERIES EC7895A, RM7895A RELA Y MODULE 65-0205 22 NOTE: Low fuel pressure limits, if used, could be open. If so, bypass them with jumpers during this check. 1. Open the master switch. 2. Make sure that the man ual main fuel shutoff valv e(s) is closed.
7800 SERIES EC7895A, RM7895A RELA Y MODULE 65-0205 23 Initial Lightoff Check for Direct Spark Ignition This check applies for gas and oil burners that do not use a pilot. It should immediately follow the preliminary in-spection. Refer to the appropriate sample block diagram of field wiring for the ignition transformer and fuel valve(s) hookup.
7800 SERIES EC7895A, RM7895A RELA Y MODULE 65-0205 24 c. T ur n the pilot back do wn slightly but not enough to cause the FLAME LED to go out. (Keep the pilot gas pressure just above the reading noted in step 6 above.) NOTE: Step d requires two people, one to open the manual main fuel valve(s) and one to watch for ignition.
7800 SERIES EC7895A, RM7895A RELA Y MODULE 65-0205 25 If the detector is sensing hot refractory , the condition must be corrected. Add an orifice plate in front of the cell to restrict the viewing area of the detector . If this does not correct the problem, resight the detector at a cooler , more distant par t of the combustion chamber .
