4 Dolphin 6500 Bottom Connectors Step 1: Install the Main Battery The 6500 is shipped with the batter y packaged separ ately from the unit. T o install the batter y , release the hand strap , remov e the batter y door by turning the locks upward, inser t the batter y with the labels f acing upward, and replace the batter y door .
5 Step 2: Charge the Batteries Dolphin term inals ship with both the main battery pack and inter nal backup battery significantly discharged of power . Charge the main batter y pack with the Dolphin charging cab le f or a minimum of 5 1/2 hours before initial use.
