3 Dolphin 6110 Bottom Connectors Step 1: Install the Main Battery Ensure all components are dry prior to mating terminals/batter- ies with peripheral de vices . Mating wet compo nents ma y cause damage not co v ered by th e warran ty . W e recommend use of Hone ywell Li-Ion battery packs .
4 The 6110 is shipped with the bat ter y packag ed separately from th e unit. T o install the batt er y , release t he hand strap , remo v e the battery door by turning the locks upw ard, inser t the ba tter y with the labels facing upward, and replace the bat ter y door .
5 We recommend use of Honeywell peripherals, power cables, and power adapters compiled with L.P.S. Use of any non-Honeywell peripherals, cables, or power adapters may cause damage not covered by the warranty.
6 • Avoid dropping the terminal or battery. If the te rminal or battery is dropped, especia lly on a hard surface, and the user suspects damage, send it to a Honeywell Inte rnational Inc. or an authorized ser vice center f or inspection, see Technical Assis tance on page 7 .
7 1. Press and hold the Po w e r button until the options menu appears . 2. Tap Soft Reset or Hard Reset on the menu. 3. When the rese t is complete, the Home screen displays. Note: To perform a Hard Reset if the screen has stopped r esponding, press and hold the Pow er button for approximately 8 seconds until the termina l starts to re-boo t.
