STOPPING THE ENGINE SLOW C ONT RO LL EVER E NGAGED Mo ve the co ntro l lever to t he SLOW po sition . The engin e switch, wh ich is linked with t he flywheel brake lever, is turned o ff when th e flywheel brake lever is moved to th e E NGAGE D posit ion.
17 MAINTENANCE S hut off the engine be fore per forming any ma inte nance . To pr event accidental start- up, d isc onnect t he spar k plug cap. Use only ge nuine Honda pa rts or thei r equi val ent. T he use of replacemen t parts which are not o f equ ivalent qu ality may damage t he engine .
