The safe use of this pr oduct requir es an understanding of the information on the tool and in this operator’ s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting. Before use of this pr oduct, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.
P age 9 UNP ACKING This product r equires assembly . Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.
P age 10 ASSEMBL Y WARNING: Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wir e before installing parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use. Failure to do so could result in possible serious personal injury. ASSEMBLING THE BLOWER TUBES See Figure 3.
P age 11 ASSEMBL Y INST ALLING THE V ACUUM TUBES See Figures 6 - 7. To install the vacuum tubes: Screw the upper and lower vacuum tubes together and tighten securely. Loosen the door knob on the inlet cover door and open. Place the notch in the support arm of the upper vacuum tube under the hinge of the inlet cover door.

P age 13 Fig. 9 OPERA TION ST ARTING AND STOPPING See Figures 8 - 9. Starting the product differs depending on whether the engine is cold or warm. To start a cold engine: Set switch to ON . Push the primer bulb, slowly, 8 times. Set the choke lever to FULL .

P age 15 OPERA TION V ACUUM OPERA TION See Figure 13. Install the vacuum tubes and bag. Refer to Installing the Vacuum Bag and Installing the Vacuum Tubes . Start the blower. Refer to Starting and Stopping . � Place the leaf bag strap over your head and onto your left shoulder.

P age 17 MAINTENANCE SP ARK ARRESTOR The muffler is equipped with a spark arrestor screen inside muffler body . After extended use the screen can become dirty and you may need to have the muffler replaced by an authorized servicing dealer . WARNING: Never run the blower without the spark arrestor in place.
