10 11 Fig. 4 ST ARTING AND STOPPING See Figure 3. Starting the product differs depending on whether the engine is cold or warm. TO START A COLD ENGINE: n Place the blower on a flat, bare surface. n Make sure cruise control is locked in the IDLE position.
10 11 WIDE SWEEPER NOZZLE CRUISE CONTROL SELECTOR (THROTTLE LOCK) THROTTLE TRIGGER �� n Operate blower at the lowest possible throttle speed to do the job. �� n Check your equipment before operation, especially the muffler, air intakes and air filters.

12 13 MAINTENANCE SP ARK ARRESTOR The muffler is equipped with a spark arrestor scr een inside muf fler body . After extended use the scree n can become dirty and may need to have the muffler replaced by an authorized servicing dealer . WARNING: Never run the blower without the spark arrestor in place.
