Page 9 OPERA TION STARTING AND STOPPING See Figure 3. Star ting the product differs depending on whether the engine is cold or warm. Refer to the label on the air filter base for choke positions A , B , and C . TO START A COLD ENGINE: 1. Place the blower on a flat, bare surface.
Page 10 ■ Operate blower at the lowest possible throttle speed to do the job. ■ Check your equipment before operation, especially the muffler, air intakes and air filters. ■ Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing. ■ In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces when water is available.
