P age 8 OPERA TION FILLING THE T ANK WARNING: Gasoline is extr emely flammable and explosive. A fir e or explosion from gasoline will bur n you and others. Always stop the engine before filling the fuel tank. Never add fuel to a machine with a running or hot engine.
P age 9 OPERA TION ST ARTING AND STOPPING See Figures 3 - 4. Starting the product dif fers if the engine is cold or warm. Refer to the label on the air filter base for choke positions A , B , and C . T o Start A Cold Engine: n Place the blower on a flat, bare surface.
P age 10 n Operate blower at the lowest possible thr ottle speed to do the job. � n Check the equipment before operation, especially the muffler , air intakes, and air filters. � n Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing. � n In dusty conditi ons, slightl y dampen surfac es when water is available.
