P age 2 — English DANGER: GROUNDING THE GENERA TOR T o reduce the risk of shock or electrocution, generator must be properly grounded. The nut and gr ound terminal on the frame must always be used to connect the generator to a suitable gr ound sour ce.

Generator exhaust contains high levels of carbon mon- oxide (CO), a poisonous gas you cannot see or smell. If you can smell the generator exhaust, you are breathing CO.

Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. NOTE: This machine is heavy and requir es a minimum of two people to lift.

P age 19 — English MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE EXHAUST POR T AND MUFFLER Depending on the type of fuel used, the type and amount of lubricant used, and/or your operating conditions, the ex haust port and muffler may become blocked with carbon deposits.
