— 9 — English WARNING 䢇 Never connect Stapler to pressure which potentially exceeds 200 psi (13.7 bar 14 kgf/cm 2 ). 䢇 Never use non relieving coupler on Stapler. 1. Power source 䡬 Use only clean, dry, regulated compressed air as a power source for this Stapler.
— 10 — English COLD WEATHER CARE 䡬 Do not store the Stapler in a cold weather environment. Keep the Stapler in a warm area until beginning the work. 䡬 If the Stapler is already cold, bring it in a warm area and allow the Stapler to warm up before use.
— 11 — English 䡺 THE STAPLER MUST OPERATE (5) With the Stapler off the workpiece, pull the trigger. Depress the push lever against the workpiece. 䡺 THE STAPLER MUST OPERATE. (6) If no abnormal operation is observed, you may load staples in the Stapler.
— 12 — English 䢇 Never place your hands or feet closer than 8 inches (200 mm) from firing head when using. 䢇 Do not drive staples on top of other staples or with Stapler at too steep of an angle; staples can ricochet and hurt someone. 䢇 In order to avoid double fire or unwanted ejection of a staple due to bouncing of the Stapler.
— 13 — English THE OPTIONAL SEQUENTIAL TRIP MECHANISM (SINGLE SHOT PARTS) is for use where precision fastener placement is desired and must be operated in accordance with the following “ Method of Operation ” . You must first depress the push lever (upward position) where you wnat to drive a staple and then pull the trigger.

— 23 — Fran ç ais 䡬 Si l ’ on ne poss è de pas de lubrificateur, mettre 5 à 10 gouttes d ’ huile de machine pneumatique Hitachi dans le bouchon d ’ air de l ’ agrafeuse deux fois par jour. ENTRETIEN PAR TEMPS FROID 䡬 Ne pas ranger l ’ agrafeuse dans un environnement froid.

Actionner le levier-poussoir contre la pi è ce. 䡺 L ’ AGRAFEUSE DOIT FONCTIONNER. (6) Si l ’ on ne remarque aucun fonctionnement anormal, on pourra mettre des agrafes dans l ’ agrafeuse.

— 26 — Fran ç ais Si les agrafes sont enfonc é es trop loin ou pas assez dans la pi è ce, r é gler le clouage dans l ’ ordre suivant. 1 DEBRANCHER LE TUYAU D ’ AIR DE L'AGRAFEUSE. 2 Pour r é gler la profondeur de clouage, desserrer la vis de fixation du levier-poussoir.
— 27 — Fran ç ais ENTRETIEN ET INSPECTION Lire la section intitul é e “ SECURITE ” (pages 17 – 19). AVERTISSEMENT 䢇 D é brancher le tuyau d ’ air et sortir toures les agrafes de l ’ agrafeuse quand : 1) on entretient ou on inspecte l ’ agrafeuse ; et 2) on retire des agrafes coinc é es.

— 32 — Espa ñ ol 24. NO UTILICE NUNCA UNA GRAPADORA DEFECTUOSA O QUE FUNCIONE INCORRECTAMENTE. Si la grapadora parece funcionar anormalmente, si produce ruidos extra ñ os, etc., deje de utilizarlo inmediatamente y solicite su reparaci ó n a un centro de servicio autorizado por Hitachi.

— 36 — Espa ñ ol Cantidad de aire requerida = 3 × 30 × ,040 (1,1) × 1,2 = 4,3 CFM (pies 3 /min) (119 litros/min) Despu é s de haber realizado los c á lculos indicados arriba, tendr á que buscar un compresor que proporcione 4,3 CFM de aire, que es el valor requerido.
— 37 — Espa ñ ol (3) Con el dedo en el gatillo, presione la palanca de empuje contra la pieza de trabajo. 䡺 LA GRAPADORA NO DEBER Á FUNCIONAR. (4) Sin tocar el gatillo, presione la palanca de empuje contra la pieza de trabajo. Apriete el gatillo.
— 38 — Espa ñ ol La grapadora habr á quedado lista ahora para poder utilizarse. PRECAUCION: Si libera repentinamente el alimentador de grapas, podr á retornar con brusquedad, provocando deformaci ó n y/o dispersi ó n, y eventualmente, el bloqueo de las grapas.
— 39 — Espa ñ ol (2) Operaci ó n continua (Disparo con la palanca de empuje) 1 Apriete el gatillo con la grapadora fuera de la pieza de trabajo. 2 Presione la palanca de empuje contra la pieza de trabajo para clavar una grapa. 3 Desplace la grapadora por la pieza de trabajo con un movimiento de rebote.
— 40 — Espa ñ ol Apriete el tornillo que sujeta a la pieza de la palanca de empuje. 3 Conecte la manguera de aire. UTILICE SIEMPRE GAFAS PROTECTORAS PARA LOS OJOS. Realice una prueba de clavado. 4 DESCONECTE LA MANGUERA DE AIRE DE LA GRAPADORA. 5 Elija la posici ó n adecuada para el adjustador.
— 41 — Espa ñ ol MANTENIMIENTO E INSPECCI Ó N Lea la secci ó n titulada “ SEGURIDAD ” (p á ginas 30 – 32). ADVERTENCIA 䢇 Desconecte la manguera y extraiga todas las grapas de la grapadora antes de: 1) realizar trabajos de mantenimiento e inspecci ó n, y 2) desatascar la grapadora.
