L 300 IP Series Inverter Quick Reference Guide x Three-phase input 400V Class Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd. Manual No.: QRGL300IPV1 y Oct.
Power Circuit Terminals Caution: Be sure to read the L300IP Inverter Manual and follow its Cautions and Warnings for the initial product installation. This Quick Reference Guide is intended for reference use by experien ced users in servicing existing installatio ns.
Control Circuit Terminals Terminal name Description Ratings and Notes P24 +24V power for inputs 24VDC supply, 100 mA max. CM1 +24V common Common for 24V supply, FW, TH, inputs 1 to 5, and FM.
Serial P or t T erminals AM V oltage analog output 0 to 10VDC, 2 mA max. AMI Current analog outp ut 4-20 mA, nomi nal load impedance 250 Ω L Common for analog inputs Sum of OI, O, and H currents (return) OI Analog input, current 4 to 19.6 mA r ange, 20 mA nominal O Ana log input, voltage 0 to 9.
Basic Wiring Diag ram The following wiring diagram sh ows the power and motor connections for basic operation. The optional signal input wiring supports e xternal Fwd and Rev Run command, and a speed potentiometer .
In ver ter Ke ypad Operation • Run/Stop LED – ON when the in verter output is ON and the motor is de veloping torqu e, and OFF when the in verter output is OFF (Stop Mode). • Program/Monitor LED – This LED is ON when t he in verter is re ady for parame ter editing (P rogram Mode ).
• Stop/Reset Key – Press this key to stop the motor when it is running (uses the programmed deceleration rate). This key will also reset an alarm which has tripped. • Para me ter Di spl ay – A 4-digit, 7-segment display for parameters and function codes.

P owerup T est The Powerup T est procedure uses mi nimal parameter settings to run the motor . The procedure describes two alternati ve methods for commanding the in verter: via the in verter ke ypad , or via the logic terminals . • Check power input and motor output wiring (see page 4 dia gram).
Error Codes The L300P series in verters will trip on ov er-current, ov er-voltage, and under-v oltage to protect the in verter . The motor output turns OFF , allow- ing the motor to free-run to a stop. Pr ess the Stop/Reset key to reset the in verter and cle ar the error .
Err or Status Codes and Err or T rip Conditions The digit to the right of the decimal point in the error code (such as E0 1 .4 ) indicates in verter status at the moment the error occurred. Use the Up and Down arro w keys to scro ll through the trip condition parameters.
