4 7. Never use the circular saw with its lower guard fi xed in the open position. 8. Ens ure that the retraction mechanism of the guard system operates correctly . 9. Nev er opera te the circular saw with the saw blade turned upw ard or to the side .
5 CAUTI ON To avoid possible accident, always ensure that the portion of lumber remaining af ter cutting is securely anchored or held in position . 5. How to store the hex. bar wrench (Fig. 2) The hex. bar wrench used fo r attac hing and detaching the sa w blade can be stored in the handle .
