First time use How to set up your new HIT ACHI Plasma T elevision SETTING FOR WALL MOUNTING STEP (1) : Please locate the STAND PLATE metal on the back of the TV . This metal is use to hold the TV and the Base ; so it needs to be remove in order to separate the TV from the Base.
7 First time use How to set up your new HIT ACHI Plasma T elevision VIEWING The best picture is seen by sitting dir ectly in front of the TV and about 10 to 18 feet from the scr een. During daylight hours, reflections fr om outside light may appear on the screen.
8 First time use 300-Ohm T win Lead This outdoor antenna cable must be connected to an antenna adapter (300-Ohm to 75-Ohm). Phono Used on all standard video and audio cables which connect to inputs and outputs located on the television’ s r ear jack panel and side control panel.
9 Quick Refer ence Remote Control Buttons and Functions First time use In addition to controlling all of the functions on your HIT ACHI Plasma TV , the new remote control is designed to operate differ ent types of devices, such as, DVD Players, CBL (Cable Boxes), set-top-boxes, satellite receivers, and VCRs.

Connecting Exter nal V ideo Sources Y our HIT ACHI Plasma T elevision is equipped with an AV Network featur e. This feature helps to contr ol your external Audio/Video equipment (VCR, Set T op Box, DVD, etc.). Once this is setup, it allows your IR Blaster cable to control your equipment using your HITACHI Plasma TV Remote Control.
23 Your HITACHI Plasma Television is equipped with a G-LINK feature. This connection is necessary for the TV Guide On Screen TM system to work with your cable box to receive program listings and to enable VCR recording features.

Pictur e-In-Picture (PIP) PIP MODE PICTURE-IN-PICTURE Select CABLE/AIR or INPUT 1~5 from the INPUTS menu. Select a channel that has a 1080i/720p signal.
