You can w atch a TV program w hile view ing a VCR program (TV or tape) and v ice ver sa with thi s feature.
PICTURE-IN-PICT URE (P-IN-P) FUNCTIONS 36 SHIFT BUTTON To move the sub-pictur e to another corner, press the "SH IFT" button. The sub-picture moves one step counter- clockwi se every time the "SHIFT" button is pressed. FREEZE BUTTON If you wi sh to freeze the sub-pictur e, press "FREEZE" button.

A UDIO SYST EM SET-UP 39 A UDIO SYSTEM SET-UP • Match the numbers below to the diagram for speaker placement and refer to the table for the different surround sound requi rements. The television's i nternal speakers. These speakers are connected to a separate audio ampl ifier.
-SOUND- FUNCTIONS 40 the AUDIO TO HI-FI output, and the sur round speakers. BASS - This function controls the low f requency audio to all speakers. TREBLE - This function controls the hig h frequency to al l speakers. 2 SOUND SETTING Use the sound setting s to improve the sound per formance of y our TV depending on listening conditions.
