2 598-1349-00 T ypical Installation 1. Remove existing wall switch from junction box. 2. Connect electrical leads of sensor as shown in Figure 3. Before installing s ensor into junction box, make sure there is no wire exposed at each connection. 3. Mount sens or into junctio n box using tw o large mounting screws pro vided.
3 598-1349-00 USING MO TION SENSOR W ALL SWITCH MODE SELECTION SWITCH This s witch al lows you to select one of three modes of operation: OFF , A UTO, or ON. OFF: Lights stay off. A UTO: Lights automatically come on when mo- tion is detected. The lights will turn off 5 minutes after motion is no longer detected.
4 598-1349-00 SYMPTOM Light does not come on. Light s do not s tay on in th e AUTO mode. POSSIBLE CA USE 1. Circuit breaker or fuse is turned off. 2. If the lamp being controlled has another switch, it may be turned off. 3. Bulb is defective. 4. LIGHT control is set too far toward the dark position.
