C HAPTER 3: I NST ALLA TION 9 Wiring the Step-Down Transformer 1. For cord connected installations, plug the inp ut power cord into the outlet . 2. For hardwired installations: • Verify that all branch circuit (mains) are de-energized an d locked out before installing cables or making connections.
