The Universal Insi de Lift line is o ne of the easiest and most trouble free ways to transport your scooter or power c hair.
2 Section 1 - Unpacking the Lift Your Fully Powered Inside Lift was factory pre-assembl ed to require little assembly before installation. AL200 / AL400 Box contents should include: Package Check List.
3 Section 2 - Vehicle Prep aration The Inside Lift has been designed w ith the s hortest height and smallest footprint requirements to allo w m aximum room for the loading and unloading of y our scooter or pow er chair.
4 Inst alling the V ehicle Wiring Harness Important Note: IM PROPER WIRING IS THE #1 CAUSE OF PROBLEMS IN THE OPERATION OF A VEHICLE LIFT. FOLLOW THE WI RING INSTRUCTIONS CA REFULLY Located in the hardware package is the vehicle wiring harness. The harness is manufactured to, and complies with the SAE J1128 requirements.

6 Section 4 - Installing th e A L200 Lift • You shou ld hav e established a mounting position for the lift during the “trial fit” as describ ed in Section #2 of this manual. If not, it is recommended that you go through that procedu r e. • Mount the lift in the location determined during the “trial fi t” in the vehicle.

Contact yo ur distributor if it shows signs of w ear or f raying. • Do not operate this lift until you dealer has satisfactorily instructed you in the proper operation of this lift.

Dealers should instruct operators on how, if necessary, to secure the scoo t er or chair for transport.

12 Section 5 - Installing the AL40 0 Full y Powered Lift • You should hav e establishe d a mounting po sition for the lif t dur ing the “trial fit” as described in Section #2 of this manual. If not, it is recommended that yo u go through that procedure.
13 Section 5 - Installing the AL400 Continued IMPORTANT! Make sure that the Post is seated completely down into the w hite Po wer Base bushing. If there is any wobble to the post, rotate it in the base bushing un til it drops completely onto the pin located in the bott om of the base unit.

24 TROUBLESHOOTING: PROBLEM : The lift will not operate or operates sl ow l y. Possible Causes : Bad Ground —Verify the ground end of the Vehicle Ha rness is touching the vehicle fr a m e in an area that is free o f paint and corrosion.
