Introduction and Safety Information Unpacking and Installation The carton and shipping materials used to protect your new PT2500 during ship- ment were specially designed to cushion it from shock and vibration. We suggest that you save the carton and packing materials for use in shipping if you move or should the unit ever need repair .

Installation & Configuration If side wall mounting is not practical, the speakers may be placed on a rear wall, behind the listening position. Again, they should be located so that the bottom of the cabinet is at least 24 ″ higher than the listeners’ ears.
Installation & Configuration 3. Subtract the distance to the rear/sur- round speakers from the distance to the front speakers and add 15. The resulting number is the ideal delay time for your room. For example, if the front speakers are 10 feet away and the surround speak- ers are 5 feet away , the formula will be “10-5+15=20”.
