Amber lights must face forward and red lights must face backward. Improper orientation can confuse or distract drivers, caus- ing a trafc hazard.

Make sure the burned-out bulb has cooled completely . Gently pry off a lens covering the burned out bulb using plastic pry tools (not included) to prevent damage.
