3 Installation Considerations For best results, Hansgrohe recommends that this unit be installed by a licensed, profes- sional plumber . Please read over these instructions thoroughly before beginning installation. Make sure that you have all tools and supplies needed to complete the installation.
4 Push the escutcheon over the mounting flange. Thread the faucet onto the mounting nipple. Push the escutcheon out of the way . Tighten the set screw .
5 Remove the aerator (1). T urn on the water and flush the faucet (2). Check for leaks. T urn the water off and install the aerator (3). Caution The pot filler may get hot when the arm is positioned above the stove's burner . Swing the pot filler away from the stove after use.
6 Limited Lifetime Consumer W arranty This product has been manufactured and tested to the highest quality standards by Hansgrohe, Inc. (“Hansgrohe”). This warranty is limited to Hansgrohe products which are purchased by a consumer in the United States after March 1, 1996, and installed in either the United States or Canada.
7 LENGTH OF W ARRANTY Replacement or repaired parts of products will be covered for the term of this warranty as stated in the following two sentences.
