4 Using Your Espresso Maker 1. Wash all removable parts in warm, soapy water. Do not wash these parts in a dishwasher. 2. Make sure all three buttons are in the OFF (up) position and the steam control dial is in the closed/OFF postion. Turn the steam control dial clockwise to close.
5 • For best results, use fresh-ground, dark, espresso roast coffee. • If espresso preground coffee is used, store the unused portion in an airtight container and keep in a cool, dark area for up to one week. • The grind of the coffee will affect the taste of the coffee and how the appli- ance works.
6 1. Insert ground espresso filter into fil - ter holder . (To use a pre-made espresso pod filter packet, place the pod filter in the filter holder then the pre-made espresso pod in the pod filter. Proceed with Step 3.) When using pods, only one pod for one serving may be used at a time.
7 For making cappuccinos, lattes, and other beverages. 1. Ensure that there is water in the water reservoir and that the frothing nozzle is rotated to the left of unit. 2. Turn the steam control dial to the lowest setting (clockwise until fully stopped).

4 Utilisation de la machine à café espresso 1. Laver toutes les pièces amovibles à l’eau tiède savonneuse. Ne pas laver ces pièces dans un lave-vaisselle. 2. S’assurer que les trois boutons sont à la position OFF (arrêt) vers le haut et que la commande de vapeur est à la position fermée/arrêt.
5 • Pour les meilleurs résultats, utiliser un café torréfié espresso noir fraîchement moulu. • Si on utilise un café espresso pré-moulu , ranger la portion non utilisée dans un contenant hermétique et le placer dans un endroit sombre et frais jusqu’à une semaine.
6 1. Insérer le filtre à espresso moulu dans le porte-filtre . (Pour l’utilisation d’une dosette à espresso, placer le filtre à dosette dans le porte-filtre puis la dosette dans le filtre à dosette. Passer à l’étape 3.) Lors de l’utilisation de dosettes, n’utiliser qu’une dosette pour une tasse à la fois.
7 Pour préparer des cappuccinos, lattes et autres boissons. 1. S’assurer qu’il y a de l’eau dans le réservoir et que la buse de moussage est tournée du côté gauche de la machine. 2. Tourner la commande de vapeur au plus faible réglage (dans le sens horaire jusqu’à l’arrêt complet).
8 Nettoyage Pour nettoyer la machine à café espresso pour la première fois, voir les instructions à la section « Avant la première utilisation » à la page 4. Nettoyer la machine à espresso après chaque utilisation. REMARQUE : Ne pas placer les pièces amovibles au lave-vaisselle.
