- 5 - Operation The keyboard and mouse will function no differently th an if the keyboard and mouse were connected directly to the PC. Switc hing You can use of three ways to switch am ong the PCs. The first way is to simply press the button for the desired PC on the fron t panel of the MC4-H 2 or MC4-H2-SW .
- 6 - F r ont Panel Pu sh Buttons: Hold down the buttons for port A and port D simultaneously for 3 seconds on the unit where you want to chang e the address. When you see the LED's begi n to flash this indicates that the a ddress can now be changed for this unit.
- 7 - Stack ing (Daisy-Chaining) of Mult iple MC4-H2 or MC4-H2-SW Units In order to connect two or more units to expand the number of PC ’s t hat you co ntrol, y ou need t o order a Daisy-C hain Cabl e Set. Connect the OUT of the Slave #1 to the IN of the Master.
- 8 - Hot Swapping PC’ s You may hot swap a PC while the MC4-H2 or MC4- H2-SW is powere d up only after that P C has been turned off . After the PC has been tur ned off, unpl ug the keyboard, mouse, and video connectors of t he CA10087 (4-in-1) cabl e then plug them into the PC you wish to insert into the MC4-H2 or MC4-H2-SW setup.
