5. Install the round-slotted handwheel onto the right shaft with the 4 x 4 x 12 key, and install the square-slotted handwheel onto the left shaft, using the cap screws and flat washers already mounted on the handwheel shafts. Figure 5 . Handwheels installed.

The jointe r fence c an be moved 45° in either d irection from square and locked in place an y where within this range.

Injury to the operator or damage to the workpiece can occur if a knot becomes dislodged during the cutting operation.

Consider replacing the stock belt with Power Twist V-belts (see Page 27 ) to reduce vibration and noise, and increase belt lifespan.
