6 AL W A YS allow adequate c learance fo r unit, attachme nts, operator and objects i n work area when turning . Slow down be fore turnin g. NEVER carry passeng ers. If you can not back up a s lope or yo u feel uneasy on it, do not mow it. Mow up and down slop es, not ac ross them.

9 INST ALLATION Adjust the Parking Brake NOTE: The additi onal weig ht of the gr ass container requires a parking brake re-adjustmen t. 1. Remove the rear wheel s. 2. Set the s pring length and return gap as shown below . 3. Replace t he rear whee ls.
10 4. Connect th e left and right d oor opening linkage s to the main f rame with one Rue-Ring cotter pin (item 33 ) per side . 5. T est the function of the dump mec hanism by p ulling the lift handl e away from t he grass c ontainer and then lifting u pward.
11 Inst all Front Baffle and Finger Guard on Blower Assembly (Figu re 10) 1. Remove on e mounting bolt from the idler rel ease leve r . 2. Choose the appropria te blower baffle according t o the table belo w (Figure 8) and th en install the blower b af fle (item 6 o r 7) with two 3/8- 16 x 1/2 t apping screws (it em 26).
12 Inst all Blower Assembly on Deck 1. Remove di scharg e chute and r ight belt cover from the d eck. 2. Install the d rive belt o n the blower a ssembly . NOTE: The bagger k it includes three V -belts tha t have a part number pr inted on e ach V -bel t.
13 5. Replace th e belt cover rem oved in step 1. Keep the discharg e chute for o perating the machine w ithout the blower attached. NOTE: If you prefe r tool-less belt remov al, replac e the belt cover with the har dware provided i n this kit. See Figure 14 .
14 REMOVING BAGGER KIT 1. Remove the hose fr om the blow er assembly and collec tor inlet ( see figure 15 on page 1 3). 2. R emove b elt cove r . 3. Remove V -belt fr om double pulley (see fi gure 12 o n pag e 12 ). 4. Remove bl ower assembl y (see figur e 1 1 on pag e 12 ).
15 If hose or blower as sembly gets c logged, stop f orward motion and allow uni t to clear itself. If unit wil l not clear itself, uncl og the hos e and/or blo wer asse mbly manua lly as inst ructe d belo w . 1. S to p engine a nd remove igni tion key .
16 IMPORT ANT : NEVER spr ay unit with high-press ure water . DO NOT store unit outdoors. Clean pla stic surf aces with s ponge and m ild deterge nt. Dry with a soft cloth. Remove al l debris from mesh ba gs before s toring. Remove al l dirt, gr ease, leaves, etc.
