Operation 312001G 9 Operation Tr i g g e r L o c k Alwa ys engage the t r igger lock when y ou stop spra ying to pre vent the gun from being triggered accidentally by han d or if dropped or bumped.
Setup 10 312001G Setup 1. Unscrew tip and guard assembly from gun. 2. Uncoil hose and connect one end to gun. Use tw o wrenches to tighten securely 3. Connect other end of hose to spra yer . 4. T ur n OFF power s witch. 5. T ur n Pressure Control Knob all the wa y left (counter-cloc kwise) to minimum pressure.

Setup 14 312001G Tip Selection Selecting Tip Hole Size Tips come in a v ar iety of hole siz es for spr a ying a range of fluids . Y our spra yer includes an 0.015 in (0.38 mm) tip f or use in most spra ying applications. Use the f ollowing tab le to determine the range of recommended tip hole siz es for e ach fluid type.
Setup 312001G 15 Understanding Tip Number The last three digits of tip n umber (i.e.: 221413 ) contain inf or mation about hole size and fan width on surf ace when gun is held 12 in. (30.5 cm) from surf ace being spra yed. Rever sible Tip Selection Chart Example : For an 8 to 10 in.

Troubleshooting 312001G 27 Pump does not prime. Prime/Spra y V alve is in SPRA Y position. T ur n Pr ime/Spra y V alve to PRIME position (pointing do wn). Inlet screen is clogged or suction tube is not immersed. Clean debris off inlet screen and make sure suction tu be is immersed in fluid.
Troubleshooti ng 28 312001G Pump cycles but does not build up pressure. Pump is not primed. Prime pump . Inlet screen is clogged . Clean de br is off inlet screen and make sure suction tu be is immersed in fluid. Suction tube is not immersed in paint.
Troubleshooting 312001G 29 Pressure is set at maximum b ut cannot achie ve a good spra y patter n. Re versib le spra y tip is in UNCLOG position. Rotate arrow-sh aped handle on spra y tip so it points f orward in SPRA Y position, page 13. Spra y tip is too large f or spra yer .
