Repair 313889B 11 Installation 1. Ev enly lubricate inside of bronze bearing (C) in bearing housing (40) with high-quality mot or oil. Lib- erally pac k top roller bearing (E), low er bearing (D) inside connecting ro d (43) with bearing grease. 2. Assemb le connecting rod (43) to bearing housing (40).

Repair 313889B 15 Clamp Installation 1. Install engine shaft k ey (18). 2. T ap clamp (22) onto engine shaft (A). Maintain dimension of 2. 612 ± .010 in. (66.34 ± .25mm). Chamfer must f ace engine. 3. Check dimension: Plac e rigid , straight steel ba r (B) across face of clutch ho using (19).
Repair 16 313889B 9. Place pinion assembly on bench with ro tor side up. 10. Apply thread s ealant to scr ews . Install four screws (28) and lo ck w a shers (24). A lter nately to rque screws t o 125 ± 10 in-lb (14 ± 1.1 N•m) until rotor is secure.
Repair 313889B 17 Clutch Housing Re m ova l 1. Remo ve f our scre ws (20) and lock w ashers (21) which hold clutch housin g (19) to engine. 2. Remove scre w (35) from under mount ing plate (D). 3. Pull off clutch ho using (19). Installation 1. Push on clutch hou sing (19).
Repair 18 313889B Pressure Contr ol Pump On/Off Switch Re m ova l 1. Remov e two screws (71) and s wing down cov e r (70a). 2. Disconnect pu mp ON/OFF switch (70 j) connector from contro l board. 3. Press in on tw o retaining tabs on each side of pump ON/OFF switch (70j) and rem ov e switch from cov e r .
Repair 313889B 19 Contr ol Board Re m ova l 1. Remove two screws (71) and swing cover (70a) down. 2. Squeeze strain relief bush ings (70b) with pliers and remove . 3. Disconnect all leads at control board (70c). See Wiring Diagram , pag e 24. 4. Remo ve f our screws (7 0d) and control board (70c).
Repair 20 313889B Pressure Contr ol T ransducer Re m ova l 1. Remove two screws (71) and swing cover (70a) down. 2. Disconnect t ransducer lead (158) fr om control board (70c). 3. Remov e strain r elief (70b) and pull tr ansducer cable from the control bo x.
Repair 313889B 21 Pump Contr ol Re m ova l 1. Remove two screws (71) and swing cover (70a) down. 2. Disconnect pu mp control (70p) lead from control board (70c). 3. Loosen set screws on pump co ntrol knob (7 0k) and remov e knob , sh aft nut, lock washer and pump con- trol (70p).

Repair 313889B 23 Installation 1. Adjust piston rod t o proper length: Adjust piston rod with pin holder to pull ou t piston rod. T ap pis ton rod on hard surf ac e to push in piston rod. 2. Slide pump int o connecting rod. Pu sh pump collar flush with bearing housing ledge to be ab le to close pump door.
