Basic Troubleshooting 12 312667B Pump does not p r ime. Prime/Sp ra y V alve is in SPRA Y posi- tion. T ur n Prime/Spray V alv e to PRIME position (pointing do wn). Inlet screen is clogged or su ction tube is not immersed. Clean debris off inlet screen and make sure suction tube is immersed in fluid.
Basic Troubleshooting 312667B 13 Pump cycles but d oes not build up pressure. Prime/Spra y valv e in PRIME position (pointing do wn). T ur n Pr ime/Spray v alve to SPRA Y position (pointin g forw ard). Pump is not primed. Prime pump , see Operation man ual 312001.
Basic Troubleshooting 14 312667B Pressure is set at maximum but cannot achie v e a good spra y pattern. Spra y tip is clogged. Unclog spra y tip, see Oper ation manual 312001. Re versible spr a y tip is in UNCLOG position. Rotate arro w-shaped handle on spra y tip so it points forward on gun.
