Pressure Relief Procedure 3A0242A 5 Pressure Relief Pr ocedure 1. Lock gun trigger sa f ety . 2. T urn en gine ON/OFF switch to OFF . 3. Mov e pump switch to OFF and tur n pre ssure control knob fully counterclockwise. 4. Unlock trigger safety . Hold metal par t of gun firmly to side of groun ded metal pail, and trigger gun to relie ve pressure.
Setup 6 3A0242A Con ver tible Models Onl y: Change Engine to Motor 1. Disconnect en gine power cord. 2. Release tension bar . 3. Remo v e engine; tilt and slide bac k. 4. Install motor; drop in and push f orward. 5. Look thro ugh side vent holes and en sure drive belt is in motor pulle y .
Startup 3A0242A 7 Star tup 1. Place suction tube and dr ain tube in grounded meta l pail par tially filled with flushing fluid. Attach grou nd wire to pail and to earth ground. 2. T urn pr ime v a lv e down to DRAIN position. T u rn pressure control counte rclockwise to low est pres- sure.
Startup 8 3A0242A 8. Hold gun agains t grounded metal flushing pa il. T r ig- ger gun and increase fluid pressure slo wly until pump r uns smoothly . Inspect fittings f or leaks. Do not stop leaks with your hand or a rag! If leaks occur , tur n spra yer OFF immediately .
