3 306402 W ARNING INJECTION HAZARD Spray from the gun, leaks or ruptured components can inject fluid into your body and cause extremely serious injury , including the need for amputation. Fluid splashed in the eyes or on the skin can also cause serious injury .
4 306402 W ARNING FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD Improper grounding, poor ventilation, open flames or sparks can cause a hazardous condition and re- sult in a fire or explosion and serious injury . D Ground the equipment and the object being sprayed. Refer to Grounding on page 5.
5 306402 Installation General Information NOTE: Reference numbers and letters in parentheses in the text refer to the callouts in the figures and the parts drawing. NOTE: Always use Genuine Graco Parts and Acces- sories, available from your Graco distributor .
6 306402 Installation T ypical Installation Mount the Evenflo Control (1) to the pump, using the screws supplied with it to attach the mounting plate to the pump base. Remove the screw and lockwasher from the bottom of the control. Position the control over the small hole of the mounting plate and reinstall the lockwasher and screw .
7 306402 Operation Pressure Relief Procedure With the Evenflo control, its bypass valve, and the pump Relax-A-V alve properly set, fluid pressure is relieved from the pump and hose each time you re- lease the gun trigger . Always engage the gun trigger safety when you stop spraying.

T urn both air regulator handles counterclockwise to the free position. 3. Disconnect the gun air atomizing hose (13*) from the left air regulator .
9 306402 Maintenance W ARNING T o reduce the risk of serious injury whenever you are instructed to relieve pressure, always follow the Pressure Relief Procedure on page 7. 1. Remove and clean the strainer in the Evenflo body , add light oil to the screen cavity and re- assemble every day .
