Instructions 3A1495C 3 Instructions Always use all new parts included in your kit an d dis- pose of replaced parts according to all state and local regulations for disposal of discarded components. Inspect all parts when disassem bling the pump. Replace any and all worn an d damaged pa rts.

Use the strap wrench to turn the shovel cylin- der counte r-clockwise to loosen and r emove it fro m the pump assem bly (Fig. 2). NOTE: After a few turns, the shovel c ylinder should be loose enough to finish turning it with yo ur hand to remove this pa rt.
