5 Powering the Unit Battery Backup T o power the unit, plug the attached AC cord into a standard AC outlet (120V~60Hz) Install a 9-V olt Battery into the Battery Compartment on the bottom of the unit to serve as a battery backup. This is meant only to keep the time and alarm settings in the case of unexpected power failur e.
6 Docking an iPod Locate the numbered bracket that matches the iPod to be docked. Step 1: Each included bracket has a number on it indicating which iPod • model that bracket is compatible with. Use the bracket chart (separate fr om the manual) to identify which bracket is needed.
7 Setting the Clock Press and hold the Step 1: Clock Set Button . While holding the Step 2: Clock Set Button , press the Hour Button to adjust the hour , and the Minute Button to adjust the minute. The PM Indicator at the top left of the LED Display will illuminate • when the time is set to PM.

1 1 Control Denitions PM Indicator 13. The PM Indicator is lit when the time is set to pm, and not lit when the time is in the am. Alarm Indicator 14. The Alarm Indicator is lit when the alarm is set and turned on. Alarm Source Switch 15. Use the Alarm Source Switch to set which function the alarm will sound to.
