8 ■ If your dryer has been converted to use LP gas, 3 / 8 " LP compatible copper tubing can be used. If the total length of the supply line is mor e than 20 ft (6.1 m), use lar ger pipe. NOTE: Pipe-joint compounds that resist the action of LP gas must be used.
9 If this is a new vent system V ent material ■ Use a heavy metal vent. Do not use plastic or metal foil ve nt. ■ 4" (102 mm) heavy metal exhaust vent and clamps must be used.
10 Optional exhaust installations This dryer can be converted to exhaust out the right side, left side, or through the bottom. Contact your local dealer to have the dryer converted. W ARNING Fire Hazard Cover unused exhaust holes with one of the followin g kits: 279818 (white) W10186596 (midni g ht g rey) Contact your local dealer.
11 Inst all V ent System 1. Install exhaust hood. Use caulking compound to se al exterior wall opening around exhaust hood. 2. C onnect vent to exhaust hood. V ent must fit in side exhaust hood. Secure vent to exhaust hood with 4" (102 mm) clamp.
12 A combination of pipe fittings must be used to connect the dryer to the existing gas li ne. Shown is a re commended connection. Y our connec tion may be differ ent, according to the supply line type, size, and location. A. 3 / 8 " flexible gas conne ctor B.
13 3. Move the large hole screw to the opposite side. Remove the 2 plug screws and plastic plugs, and inser t them in the original scr ew holes on the opposite side. A. Hinge screws B. 15 2. Place laundry in dryer and shut door . 3. Press th e POWER button. Then rotate th e dial or pres s a Timed Cycles button to select the desired Automatic or Timed Cycle. The indicator li ght for the select ed Automatic or Timed cycle will glow green.
16 Cool Down tumbles the load without heat during the last few minutes of all cycles . Cool Down makes the loads ea sier to handle and reduces wrinkling. The length of the Cool Down depends on the load s ize and dryness level. Drying tips ■ Follow care label dire ctions when they are available.

18 ■ Stop Wrinkle Pr event at any time by pressing WRINKLE PREVENT or opening the dryer door . ■ For the Casual cycle, Wrinkle Prevent is pr eset to ON.
19 End of Cycle Signal En d of Cycle Signa l The End of Cycle Signal produces an audible sound when the drying cycle is finished. Promptly removing clothes at the end of the cycle re duces wrinkling. Press CYCLE SIGNAL to adjust th e sound level or turn off the signal.

21 Moving car e 1. Unplug the power supply cor d. 2. Close shutof f valve in gas supply line. 3. Disconnect gas supply line pip e and remove fittings attached to dryer pipe. 4. Cap the open fuel supply line. 5. Make sure leveling legs ar e secure in dryer base.
22 Dry er Results Clothes ar e not d rying satisfactorily , d rying times ar e too long, or loa d is too hot ■ Is the lint scr een clogge d with lint? Lint screen should be cleaned before each load. W ARNIN G Fire Hazar d Use a heavy metal vent. Do not use a plastic vent.
