5 ■ A level floor with a maximum slop e of 1" (25 mm) under en tire dryer . (If slope is greater than 1" [25 mm], install Extende d Dryer Feet Kit, Part Number 279810.) Clothes may not tumble properly and automatic sensor cycles may not operate correctly if dryer is not level.
6 Installation spacing for ca b inet i nstallation ■ For cabinet installation, with a door , minimum ventilation openings in the top of the cabinet are r equired.
7 If using a power supply cor d : Use a UL listed power supply cord k it marked for use with clothes dryers. The kit should contain: ■ A UL listed 30-amp power supply cor d, rated 120/240 volt mini mum. The cord should be type SRD or SRDT and be at least 4 ft (1.
8 Electrical Connection Power Supply Cor d W ARNIN G Fire Hazar d Use a new UL liste d 30 amp power supply cor d . Use a UL liste d strain relief. Disconnect power b efore making electrical connections. Connect neutral wire (white or center wir e) to center terminal (silver).
9 ■ Put power supply cord thr ough the strain relief. Be sure that the wire insulation on the power supply cor d is inside the strain relief. The strain relie f should have a tight fit with the dryer cabinet and be in a horizontal position. Do not further tighten strain relief scre ws at this point.

16 Connect V ent 1. Using a 4" (102 mm) clamp, connect vent to exhaust outlet in dryer . If connecting to e xisting vent, make sure the vent is clean. The dryer vent must fit over the dryer exhaust outlet and inside the exhaust hood. Ch eck that the vent is secured to exhaust hood with a 4" (102 mm) clamp.
17 4. Move hinge to the other side and reattach with the 4 screws removed in Step 2. Make sure locator pins line up in holes and drive the top 2 scr ews in pl ace first to help drive locator pins into proper location. 5. Set the inner door assembly aside.

19 How Automatic Cycles W ork The AccelerCare function improves drying performance with Auto Moistur e Sensing Plus, which advances the cycle as moisture is extracted from clothing. A thermistor (electronic temperature sensor) and moisture sensing st rips in the dryer drum help measure the amount of moisture in the clothes as they tumble.
20 St atus Lights Y ou may follow the progr ess of yo ur dryer with the drying Status indicator lights. Time d Cycle The Timed Cycle light glows green during a Timed Cycle. We t The W et light glows green at the beginning of Automatic Cycle if a wet item is detected or in a timed cycle after 5 minutes.
21 Time d Cycles Use Timed Cycles to select a spec ific amount of drying time and a drying temperature. (T emperatur e s are not selectable with Air Fluff.) When a Timed Cycle is selected, th e Estimated Time Remaining display shows the actual time remaining in your cycle.
22 Modifiers Use Modifiers to select time, te mperatures, and dryness levels for the Timed Cycles. Not all Modifie rs are available with all options and cycles. Available modifier settings will glow amber . Current selections will glow green. If a modifier is unavailable w ith a selected cycle, the light will not illuminate.
23 T o use the heate d d ryer rack: Do not remove the lint scre en. 1. Op en dryer door . A A. Front edge 2. Place dryer rack over the bottom of the dryer door opening. Rest the back wire on the drye r back ledge. Push down on the frame front to secure over lint screen.
24 IMPORT ANT : ■ Do not run the dryer with the lint screen loose, damaged, blocked, or missing. Doing so can cause overheati ng and damage to both the dryer and fabrics. ■ If lint falls off the scr een into the dryer during r emoval, check the exhaust hood and remove the lint.

26 ■ Is the exhaust vent or outsi d e exhaust hoo d clogge d with lint, restrict ing ai r movement? Run the dryer for 5-10 minutes. Hold your hand under the outside exhaust hood to check air movement. If you do not feel air movement, clean exhaus t system of lint or replace exhaust vent with heavy metal or flexi ble metal vent.
