The Genesis Servo/B ass Cable The concept of our servo -bass system is an easy one to understand. I t emplo y s an accelerometer in the woo fer to constantly monitor the movement of th e cone and instantaneously compare it to the input signal.
Instructions For Groundi ng the Sh ield On Genesis Servo Ca bles Step 1.- Remove the gr ounding screw from the amplifier chassis. This screw is l ocated on the rear left hand corner of t he chassis bottom. Figure 1 Step 2. – Using a small p iece of 240 grit sandpaper sand the paint around th e screw hole until t he chassis metal is exposed.
Step 3. – Using the screw removed i n step 1, attach the ring terminal connector on th e Y-cable to the chassis. Figure 4 Step 4. – Connect the male 1/8” m ini jack connector on the ground lead of the left channel cable pair t o one of the female 1/8” mini jack connectors o n the Y- cable.
Step 5. – Connect the male 1/8 ” mini jack connector on the ground lead of t he right channel servo cabl e pair to the second female 1/8” mini jack conn ector on the Y-cable.
