3 ELECTRICAL HA Z AR DS All generators covered by this manual produce dangerous electrical voltages and can cause fatal electrical shock. Utility power delivers extremely high and dangerous voltages to the transfer switch as does the standby generator when it is in opera- tion.
4 1.1 I NTRODUCTION This manual has been prepared especially for the purpose of familiarizing personnel with the design, application, installation, and operation of the appli- cable equipment. Read the manual carefully and comply with all instructions.
