3. Loosen the rock er ar m jam nut. Using an allen wrench to turn the piv ot ball stud, check the clear ance between the roc ker ar m and the valv e stem with a flat feeler gauge (Figure 11).
RETORQUING THE HEAD BOLTS After the first 50 hour s of operation , retorque the head bolts. NO TE: Only perform this adjustment after the first 50 hours of operation. The head bolts will need no fur ther adjustment. 1. Remov e the four (4) scre ws from the rocker co ver (see Figure 10).

If this cannot be done and the equipment must be stored f or more than 30 days, use the f ollowing guidelines to prepare it f or storage.
