CONNECTING THE WIRELESS FOR HDMI 10 How to Connect the Wireless for HDMI - Multi-Room Solution 1. C onnect a Hi-De f source to the S ender unit usin g the included HDMI cable. 2. C onnect an HD displa y or pro j ector to the Receiver unit usin g the included H DMI cab l e .
1 1 T he Linkin g Process A f ter all the connections have made ( see pa g e 10 ) to the Wir e l ess fo r HDMI , the R eceiver unit will attempt to ne g otiate with the S ender unit. A f ter a f ew moments, the source si g nal will appear on the displa y .
U sin g Multiple Sender Units Th e Wireless for HDMI can be used with up to eight Sender units to provide I s witchin g capabilit y between S ender units. Adding a new Video S ource Be f ore addin g an additional S ender unit to the Wireless for HDMI network, make I s ure that a sin g le S ender / Receiver pair f unction correctl y .

R enaming S ource s B y de f ault, each S ender unit is assi g ned the name “S ender”. This can be c on f usin g when multiple S ender unit are used. However , this identi fi er can be chan g ed to re fl ect, f or example, the source to which each S ender unit is co nn ec t ed .

1 8 S witching between S ource s O nce two or more S ender units have been connected to a Receiver unit, use the IR Remote C ontrol unit to switch between each source. 1. Point the IR Remote C ontrol at the Receiver unit and press the Sourc e bu tt o n.
19 3 . O nce the desired source has been selected, press the O K button. 4. The screen will g o blank momentaril y and the “C onnectin g to....” status messa g e will be displa y ed, indicatin g that the Receiver unit is switchin g to the selected S ender unit ( source ) .
Deleting S ource s I f a S ender unit ( source ) will no lon g er be necessar y , it can be removed f rom the Wireless for HDMI network. I 1. Point the IR Remote C ontrol at the Receiver unit and press the M ENU bu tt o n. 2. S elect Remove Video Sourc e f rom the S etup menu, usin g the cursor buttons on the IR Remote C ontrol.
