10 RMT -848IR Remot e 1 LED Button Press Indicato r This LED will be activated momentaril y each time a button is pressed. 2 Display and Source Selection Button s These buttons are used to select which input source is routed to the HDTV displa y .

12 How to Resolve IR Code Con fl icts In th e e v e nt th a t IR co mm a n ds f r o m o th e r r e m o t e co ntr o l s int e r fe r e with th e s upplied IR remote, chan g in g the remote IR channel will fi x the problem. The IR remote control has a bank o f DIP switches used f or settin g the remote IR c h a nn e l.

21 F AST SWITCHIN G Fast Switchin g T echnolo gy Fast S witchin g T echnolo gy ( F S T ) is a G e f en so f tware implementation f or HDMI 1.3 products. F S T was created to improve the len g th y HDMI authentication p rocess, based on the HDMI and HD C P speci fi cations.
2 2 F AST SWITCHIN G Chan g in g between Fast Switchin g and Slow Switchin g Modes Each HDMI input can be set to use either Fast S witchin g or S low S witchin g . Fast S witchin g should be used f or the best per f ormance. 1. Pr ess th e M enu button on the f ront panel.

2 5 RACK MOUNT INST ALLA TIO N Rack mount ears are provided for installing the Matrix in a 5U rack space. T o mount the Matrix in the rack, do the following: 1. Locate the 4 side screws on each side of the Matrix. 2. Remove these screws (located closest to the front of the Matrix).
