When the C AT- 5 link is established between the S ender and R eceiver units, the LED will be G REEN. When the S ender unit is in S tandb y M ode or Power S avin g Mode, this LED will be RED.

8 CONNECTING THE CA T5-1600A EXTENDER How to Connect the CA T5-1600 A 1. C onnect the S ender Unit to the computer usin g the included V G A and U S B c ables. I f audio is bein g used, connect the included 3.5mm mini-stereo c able between the audio source and the audio input on the S ender Unit.

10 D IP SWITCH CONFIGURA TIO N Receiver Uni t The C A T5-1600A Receiver Unit contains two ( 2 ) DIP switches on the bottom o f the unit. A sin g le trim pot ( potentiometer ) is also located next to the DIP switch bank.
