DUCT TAPE CAUTION: Internal duct joints must be secured with tape, otherwise they may separate and cause a safety hazard. Installation Instructions Detach and r emove the bottom, right or left side knockout as desir ed. Remove the scr ew inside the dryer exhaust duct and save.
10 RE VERSING THE DOOR SWING IMP OR T ANT NO TES • Read the instr uctions all the way through before star ting. • Handle parts car ef ully to avoid scratching paint . • Set screws down by their related par ts t o avoid using them in the wrong places.
Installation Instr uctions 8 1. Unplug the dryer from its electrical outlet . 2. Open the door to approximat ely 90 degrees. Remov e the 4 screws star ting from the bott om to the to p . Make sure the door is supported while removing the screws. 3. Loosen the top screw as shown.
Installation Instructions 9 IMPO R T ANT: Note the location of the hinge (left or right) before r emoving. 8. W ith the door frame part of the door laid down on a protected soft surface, remove the hinge cover by removing the 2 tapping scr ews (#8) that fasten it t o the frame.
Installation Instr uctions 10 14. Place the door on its edge. Assemble the 2 machine screws (#8), washers, and nuts. Tighten using a wrench and screwdriver . 15. Place the hinge cover in position. Align the hinge cover holes with the holes in the door .
Installation Instructions 11 22. Switch the strike bracket and its cover to the opposite side by removing the screws; then reinstall both on the opposite side. 23. The door is now ready t o be installed on the dryer . To ease this st ep, the hinge has keyholes that allow a partially fastened scr ew to be used as a hook .
