The vent control is located on the inside of the air louvers in the lower right corner . When set at CLOSE , only the air inside the room will be circulated and conditioned.
Air Filter The air filter behind the front grille should be checked and cleaned at least every 30 days or more often if necessary . Clean the filter with warm, soapy water . Rinse and let the filter dry before replacing it. CAUTION: DO NOT operate the air conditioner without a filter because dirt and lint will clog it and reduce performance.

Remove the Air Conditioner from the Case Pull to unlatch the lower corners of the inlet grille and lift it up and off. Using the tab, pull up slightly on the filter to release it and pull it down to remove. Remove the two grille frame screws. Pull the grille with your thumb while pushing the case with your fingers.

12 Window Installation Instructions. Install the Side Accordion Panels Slide the left and right accordion panels into the top and bottom mounting rails.
13 Assemble the Supports Loosely attach a support bracket to a support rail using 2 T ype A screws. Thread a leveling bolt into the support bracket. An adjustable wrench may be needed. Before attaching the support, hold the neck of the support rail against the back edge of the window stool.
Carefully slide the case into the window until the bottom mounting rail drops into the channels in the supports. Center the case and lower the window behind the top mounting rail. The case should be slightly tilted to the outside. Use a level; about a 1/2 bubble will be the correct case slant to the outside.
15 Consumer Support T roubleshooting T ips Operating Instructions Safety Instructions Installation Instructions Attach the Case to the Window Sash and Install the Foam T op Window Gasket Drill a 1/8 ″ pilot hole and attach the top mounting rail to the sash with a T ype B screw .
