6 Automatic Shutoff Status Indicator If the iron is an Automatic Shutoff model, the light comes on when iron is first plugged in. After 1 hour the iron will shutoff and the light will go out. Press the Temperature Selector to turn the iron back on for another hour of ironing.
7 PROBLEM Iron won’t heat. Water is leaking out of the iron. Iron won’t steam. Iron leaves spots on clothing. Retractable cord will not unwind (on select models). THINGS TO CHECK • Is the iron plugged in and the outlet working? Check the outlet by plugging in a lamp.
