SET UP • Shipping damage should be brought to the immediate attention of the delivering carrier . • Place the laminator on a stable flat surf ace capable of supporting 130 lbs (59 kg). The surf ace should be at least 30" high to assure comf or table positioning during operation.

10 Tu rn the laminator on and select speed ‘1’. Slide the threading card (provided with ne w rolls of GBC film) on the f eed table, gently pushing the film into the nip rollers (see Figure 7). The threading card should now be guiding both rolls of film through the laminator .

14 Figure 10 FILM TENSION ADJUSTMENT The film should be taut. A properly adjusted roll of film should not require e xcessive f orce to tur n by hand. Film tension should be enough to introduce a minor amount of drag as the film unrolls. Insufficient tension causes wrinkles while too much tension causes stretching (necking).
